My Last Class!

Today is my last day of class! I can't believe the year is over. Here are a couple shots of my final design project that I will be presenting today.

It snowed most of yesterday and there were some of the biggest snowflakes I have ever seen. As big as the palm of my hand!

snow! crazy. you're going to be catapulted into almost-summer here.... on a good day.

the flags came out great! are the big ones all done by hand, or did you use a stamp or stencil or something for the patterning? is this connected to the teaser you posted early - 'Homey'?

can't believe you're finished your year already! yay for you!!!

No, this is not related to the homey project and I will post more about that one later. This was a class project for a real client called Random Acts of Play that tries to engage adults on the street in play. We worked as a class but we were each in specific groups, mine being the space/signage group. There was a branding group that came up with the logo and colours that we all incorporated into our designs. And yes, I did draw that pattern on by hand.
We presented it to the client today and they were pleased and surprised at how far we took it so hopefully they will implement some of our ideas. We were very lucky to have a real client to work with because that is not usual.
